Level 1B Isizulu

Hello and Welcome to Level 1B IsiZulu!

We hope you enjoy reading and learning isiZulu. This subject is at foundational level and intended to help you build the language skills you need to succeed in speaking, reading, and writing IsiZulu.

Level 1 IsiZulu is divided into three parts:

• Part 1: Level 1A – Focuses on basic spelling and vocabulary, and basic reading skills.

• Part 2: Level 1B – Focuses on building on the vocabulary and introductory writing skills

• Part 3: Level 1C – Focuses on building further on vocabulary and higher-order reading and writing skills.

You will be required to complete each level sequentially.

The following assessments are required in order to complete IsiZulu Level 1B

• Mid-Term Assessment
• End-Term Assessment
